Clover Loop Opener 2 by ViperPilot Clover Loop Opener 2 by ViperPilot
"Left turn. Back in with the pull!" Thunderbird Diamond pulls through the left turn as they exit the Clover Loop Opener.

Quiz Time! - If you know a lot about the Thunderbirds, tell me what's wrong in this picture. One pilot is doing something wrong, can you guess who and what it is? And yes, I know what it is! ;)

Isn't the trailing pilot of the diamond supposed to be "smoke off" for this maneuver? :?

Very close! I'll give it too you. :) The Boss is supposed to have his smoke off in an established Diamond formation. Only aircraft BEHIND the Boss' jet use smoke in the Diamond, Delta, Stinger, Five Card, and Arrowhead. :) In Trail formations, Line Abreast, and the Bon-Ton Roulle, all the Diamond pilots use smoke. ;)

Dang. :XD: I knew it had to be something like that! Everything else looked good about the formation.

Cool photo! =D
